Effective Date: 1 August 2025

Legal Disclaimer

This Refund Policy is provided for general information and does not constitute legal advice. While every effort has been made to align this policy with relevant South African consumer laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), we recommend consulting a qualified legal professional for specific legal advice. By using Timelify, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Introduction

At Timelify, we strive to provide a reliable and seamless booking experience for both service providers and customers. We are committed to complying with applicable South African consumer protection laws and ensuring our refund process is fair and transparent.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date only under the following conditions:

Valid reasons for refunds include:

  • A technical fault on Timelify’s platform that prevents access or usage and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.

  • You were incorrectly charged or billed more than once.

  • An accidental purchase of a subscription and no meaningful usage has occurred.

Refunds will NOT be granted for:

  • Change of mind after purchase.

  • Dissatisfaction due to unmet expectations where the platform functioned as described.

  • Issues related to your device, internet access, or other factors beyond Timelify’s control.

  • Partial or full usage of a service within the subscription period.

  • Missed bookings or late arrivals, unless due to a fault on Timelify’s side.

3. Refund Process

To request a refund, please email hello@timelifyapp.com with the following:

  • Your name and account details

  • Date of purchase and transaction ID

  • Reason for the refund request

We will review your request within 5 business days, and if approved, your refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days using the original payment method.

Refunds are granted at Timelify’s sole discretion, except where otherwise required by South African law.

4. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time. However, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the remainder of the billing cycle. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current period unless otherwise agreed.

5. Compliance with South African Law

This policy is written with regard to the Consumer Protection Act (Act 68 of 2008). If a customer qualifies for a refund under any condition stipulated by the Act (such as service failure or defects not addressed within a reasonable time), Timelify will comply accordingly.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Timelify will not be liable for:

  • Losses resulting from misuse of the platform

  • Booking errors or missed appointments unless directly caused by a system fault

  • Indirect or consequential damages
